The History of Towels - About the Foundation

Since the dawn of time, issues of moisture absorbancy have ever played on the minds and hearts of men and women. Through times of war, through times of peace, after dinner, and at the most unpredictable times, we all need some form of towel.

The Foundation of Towel History is the leading organization of its kind. Together with towel affiliates, we promote the use of towels for any occasion and support our member organizations. We have a twofold mission to uncover the historical causes of the towel and collect relevant material to further the understanding of the human need for towels.
